Help! need to know what to do in ohio court case with drinking situation?

Hey, so a few months back I was charged with underage consumption of alcohol. My friend was driving me around at night when i was really high off a weed cookie. She got pulled over. I was laying down in the back seat and the two girls up front told the officer that i had been drinking when i had not been because they thought it would be better. The officer then pulled me up and asked me, and since they had told him i was drinking, i said i had a beer or two. The officer then searched me, DID NOT BREATHALIZE ME, but rather padded me down, took me to the station, and my parents picked me up. I just got my court date today and wondering if i should appeal it or try to get out of it if it's possible. I live in ohio and just want it to go away so i won't have a punishment. I am being charged with something i didn't do and i don't know if i truly have any options.
