Who do you think would win a war between the USA and Russia?

No one wins.......

A world war.. is something we must NEVER fight again.....

The USA when you consider that all of Russia's Nukes are monitored and if they did set up one the United States would discontinue it before it might reach anyplace. America would not send their Infantry in strolling, they might keep bombing Russia all day and all night for a couple of months until Russia surrenders. Additionally, the US has allies corresponding to Britain, and the leisure of Europe and South and North america. The British and u.S. Armies squaddies are better trained than the Russian squaddies. The technology can also be higher. We have the SAS. The USA have the Navy Seals.

Russia would probably win. Our government doesn't seem to learn anything from history. After years of bombings and no clear end in sight the Americans would make the same mistake as Napoleon and Hitler by invading Russia. The sheer size of the country and the harsh winter would prove more than the U.S. military could handle. After suffering huge defeat and spending trillions on an invasion the U.S. would be vulnerable and the Russians would take control of Alaska then march through British Colombia to American soil.

The US is still able to project power more effectively than Russia but once they got onto Russian soil I reckon the Russian's would bog them down and let the Russian Winter do the rest.

The US. But when you pose a question like this and say that nukes will not come into play, I think it's just unrealistic

Why is this war being fought? What are the respective nations' goals?

The US; it would have been a close fight in the '50s, now not so much.

It would never happen, nobody can afford those big old wars anymore.
