How much money does the war on drugs cost America, and the american people?
I have never been able to find an answer to this question. the dollar amount that this "war on drugs" has cost since it has began.
Also, perhaps if anyone could find out how much per year, along with the total cost.
iv'e heard thats it nearly the EXACT amount the U.S owes China. (1.6T) or something like that. just trying to wrap my head around this. thanks.

The reason you won't find the answer is that it is ambiguous.
The War on Drugs (an oxymoron of sorts as US troops protect the Afghan poppy crop while the State Department launders the money through sales back into supplies and logistics to carry this "war" on for years to come.
The dollar sum is more about how much corporations will profit on the fears that the average American has to give up their freedoms.
The other current "wars" are equally a misdirection and for good reason.
These wars are about about resources. Oil, gold, minerals and other assets the invaded countries must give up to American business.
