Poll: Where do your ancestors come from?

They come from the land of the ice and snow.

Paternal ancestors Germany, Maternal ancestors Ireland and England.

No way, mine too:D Well my dads side anyway. My moms side come from America, mostly Chicago. I'm actually living in Ireland with my dad now and I actually really like it, at first I thought I was going to hate it because I had kind of convinced myself that I was going to be surrounded by fields and stuff, but yeah, it's not too bad.

I'm from the USofA... Mother got here from Germany via Switzerland and Mexico along with her parents within the early Nineteen Thirties Dad's ancestors are Scots / German with him having a Nez Pierce grandmother as well.

Mine are mainly from Ireland too, but I have French, Dutch, German and Scottish ancestors (and Family who still live in those countries). But I class myself as English...Odd.

My poor children are so culturally mixed they will never be able to explain it, they have my British, Irish, Dutch and German ancestors as well as my husband's Ukrainian, Russian and German roots. They never know whether to say if they're English or Ukrainian when people ask.

Ireland. My grandpa was born there and was born sometime in the 30s. He died a longgg time ago and I never got to meet him, but I still think it's cool

My Father's side is Irish (my dad was born there), but my mum is English (although her Great-Grandfather was Italian).
