In Oregon, can I carry my 7" Ka-Bar combat knife into public places, like Walmart?

I'm 20 years old, if that means anything. And I will carry it in its leather sheathe

"Concealed" weapons usually means that it isn't seen. I have no idea what the gun laws are in Oregon, but I would have to say that it is probably not the best idea to carry the Marine knife of choice into a store. I would leave it at home unless you're planning for some hand to hand combat in one of the aisles.

Technically Walmart isn't a public place. They have the right to kick you out for that if they so choose.

It depends on weapons laws, and if how you carry it would be possibly considered a concealed weapon.

Though when you say you are 20 and want to carry a 7" knife around, all I can think about is how immature you are to think you need a knife for "defense" when if someone attacks you, you aren't going to have the time to draw your long knife, or they are going to have a gun and your knife is going to do you no good. Or for "survival"... survival... from what? In case you have trouble opening a plastic wrapper for food in town?
