    What other city? There's no place like NYC, but there are other big cities in the US that share similar traits (heavily populated, skyscrapers, busy nightlife, historic, artsy, urban, etc..). Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia... among others.

    NYC is not a state. NYC means "New York City". Hey, but at least you capitalized it [unlike the first word in your question]!
