Twinings Blackcurrant and Vanilla tea. How do they get away with it?

Twinings Blackcurrant (big letters) & Vanilla tea. Picture of blackcurrants on the front of the box, description of blackcurrants on the back of the box. Ten (!!) ingredients listed, *none* of them blackcurrant. Confused.

That'll be the "natural flavouring 2%".

    Hibiscus

    - Orange Leaves

    - Orange Peel

    - Blackberry Leaves

    - Lemon Peel

    - Rosehips

    - Liquorice Root

    - Natural Vanilla Flavouring With Other Natural Flavourings (3%)

    - Natural Flavouring (2%)

    - Ginseng (0.5%)

I agree. It's not on. They are an iconic brand but the crown slipped long ago. I find their teas too suspiciously colourful. They aim for the Tesco market, not the Waitrose market. If you want good tea I would go organic or head to the healthfood and whole stores.

Right, it is the natural flavorings that give it a blackcurrant taste.
