Isn't man's creation of God the epitome of Arrogance?

What you said is quite interesting. Its not god that created man, but man that created god. What better way would there be to give yourself meaning and hope, and maintain a high level of arrogance "knowing" that a god cares for you.

God has finished protection in Himself. while we are unjustly accused we grow to be indignant and on the instant bypass into "attack" mode or "I might desire to take care of myself" mode. God has no such elect for self defence. His love, persistence and mercy all talk for themselves. He is familiar with our anger and frustration with evil and how apparently at cases as though evil is prevailing over good. think of a Father who might refuse to pay attention us or bind our wounds while we are hurting. This kindness is likewise integrated which comprise gentle. for this reason in His kindness and persistence He is likewise amazingly solid. He opposes evil and there'll be an afternoon while he will set each and every thing precise. he will wipe out the very evil that hurts those whom he loves. The question then isn't is God to blame to me. somewhat the question is ... how do i know that He loves me? How do I stay with coverage that His love is going to guard me? This communicate board isn't meant for long discussions so i will bypass away the questions available and desire that this might get the communication began.

it's not arrogance exactly...more like narcissism. The concept of "god" is merely man projecting his consciousness outwards, which only humans can do. An ape cannot relfect upon what another ape might be thinking, or even if he could, he cannot think about what Ape B is thinking about Ape C.

But man can project his consciousness right up to the heavens. This reflection is "god", who, in all religions is suspiciously human like. He has "anger", gets "jealous" etc.

Or better yet, why would this God, who is apparently the definition of love, (and we all know the holy book says "Love does not boast, it is not arrogant...") feel the need to just make this collection of little creatures known as "humans" all for his own glory?
