the guy I like knows i like him and now hes avoiding me?

we got on before. we have a LOT in common.

i used to catch him staring at me a lot.

we talked, he was cool. then he found out i liked him from my friend "i think she might like you." and ever since then hes been really awkward, shy and quiet around me

i catch him staring occasionally now, and once i was standing in front of him at the front of the class (he was sat at the desk in front of me) and he was PROPER STARING AT ME. like slightly scary.

now hes just weird around me, and is talking to another girl (but his friend likes her)

im so confused

    This sounds like a regular school crush that boys and girls have on each other. Just keep things casual; you and he are too young to get into anything hot and heavy (you don't want to end up with a baby).

    Say hello If you see him in the classroom, in the corridor out hanging around outside. If he likes you as much as you like him he'll speak to you.

    He is shy. I remember the first time a girl liked me and i started to avoid her because i was too nervous to be in a relationship and didnt want to say no to her

    HE think he has already "conquered you". Boys / men deal with women as trophies. Once they conquered a person then they are through with them, they have accomplished their goal. Although technically he hasn't conquered you - in his mind he has and is walking around like big man on campus. He's sick - stay away from him.

    There's a great chance that he probably does like you but he wants you to be the one to ask him out to see if its true
