Absolutely not...America would most certainly NOT be better off with the erratic and irrascible John McCain (R-AZ) at the helm---especially when one considers how very dumb and inept Palin would be as a second-in-command. McCain was peddling the same dope that took this great nation to the brink of near ruin, remember: supply-side (upside-down-pyramid) economics; deregulation that removes all oversight and consumer protections from banksters, Wall Street, and greed-driven corporations---the same deregulation that brought about the housing/credit markets' COLLAPSE and then the devastating FINANCIAL SYSTEM MELTDOWN which went GLOBAL in its negative impact, bringing most of Europe into bankruptcy that simultaneously slowed our trade, thus impacting our jobs market in the U.S. Romney was also peddling the same nation-destroying dope.

President Obama has been far more brilliant in getting the nation back on a positive path towards safety, strength, and long-term prosperity than he has been given credit for doing (see whitehouse.gov and recovery.gov or read Michael Grumwald's "The New New Deal: The Hidden Story of Change in the Obama Era").

If the far-rightwing-controlled GOP would stop being so obstructionist and fiscally ILLITERATE, perhaps the Obama-generated recovery would be able to pick up some added MOMENTUM that would benefit even the obstructionist GOPers' districts so that these GOPers' would not be in jeopardy come the mid-term elections.

Having served 22yrs of my existence interior the militia protecting u . s . a . I even have earned the suitable to precise my genuine emotions yet continuously with admire to a distinctive.

    Oh hell no.

More tax breaks for the rich, less regulations on banks and credit card companies (so they can screw you better), less environmental protections, etc etc

And to top it off we'd probably be involved in a bloody land war in Iran by now.

    Hell no.

Economically about the same. No gay rights. No health care. More war. Lower taxes for the wealthy.
