Guinea pig behaviour? Help!!?
I recently got a new guinea pig she is a month old, the first time i held her monday night she was fine and fell asleep, but last night she got a bit tetchy and bit me and tonight she had a funny 5 minuets of running around, pop corning and chattering then ran up to me and bit me twice? She'll do the running thing every know and then, but once i out her in my hoddie pocket she calms down straight away, i have owned 3 male guinea pigs before and they never done any thing like this. Can any one help at all would be appreciated :) x
Thats the age they told me i didnt think it was right, and she was the only one in the litter and had no others in her run :( bless her. I did initially think it was because she was wary of me but she will quite happily come up to me for food and to sit on my lap, shes very confident lol, thank you very very for your answers though :) much appreciated and i will take them into consideration :)

What you have is a very happy playful youngster who is learning about the world with its mouth, keep in mind that her mouth is the only way she has to experience any thing to to say anything. Although it is desired that they pups stay together longer many breeders let them go at 3 to 4 weeks as long as they have reached a certain weight. I sadly just had to let 2 go at a month old, the mom was already weaning them any way and both of them are doing just wonderful. The little girl is actin exactly like how you are saying your is except she runs non stop all night. She is gaining weight like a little mad man it is adorable.
Be careful to keep your hands clean of any food smells and that often confuses a baby guinea pig and they will nibble thinking it is food.

If she is really a month old, she is too young to be away from her mother (for social reasons). Guinea pigs should not be rehomed until at least 8 weeks old. So wherever you bought her from, sadly does not sound like a very knowledgeable breeder. If you pry babies away from their mother and siblings too early, they will miss out on necessary social exposure, which can be damaging in the long run.
It's also not a good idea to keep a guinea pig alone. They are HIGHLY social animals, one will never be as happy or healthy as a pair. Human interaction is not an alternative to guinea pigs socializing amongst themselves. Please return to wherever you got her from, and get another same sexed sibling she was already living with. Single guinea pigs are actually harder to bond with, can become depressed, and sometimes aggressive.
As for your question, I'm not too sure what you're asking. You've described a normal baby guinea pig for the conditions she is in. She probably isn't too comfortable with being away from other guinea pigs, so please get her a buddy asap.

She is probably a bit scared. It's the same with every species on earth, the females are always going to be meaner and more agressive than the males. So, when you put her in you're hoodie, she is probably comfortable in there and feels ''welcome.'' I suggest hand feeding her so she gets used to you. I mean, how would you like it if a huge object came out of the sky, casted a huge shadow, and picked you up with no warning? xD
