Why do we feel attraction for the body? Is just an illusion?

I was watching some pictures of dead bodies, and was gruesome, disgusting. Death shows the real nature of this body. Even if is the most beautiful woman alive, when is dead, the attraction is gone.

What do you think? Thanks everyone.

Yes, a dead body can be gruesome. But alive it can be beautiful.

What makes you ask whether something that exists as a feeling, and which you have identified for what you believe it to be, is an illusion? The feeling isn't an illusion--you felt it. Perhaps you misidentified it, but that is not an illusion, it's a metaphysical mistake.

I see, this just shows that we are greedy, but we don't realize and we try hiding our nature in that. This is no illusion, we are attracted to the body because of those we care for making money out of attracted woman or men. They show us, attraction of people you see are attractive in a wrong way that we like, but we don't want to like. Though, they are many who don't even care of these pictures and ignore today's fashion because they just don't see it the way we do and they don't even want to.

    Hope I helped you out:)

It is the Life Force which sustains the body and the Life Spirit that resides therein and it's radiant beauty shines forth with a magical quality but it is not magic and it is not illusion. It is Life.

Think of it as a discarded vehicle that isn't needed any more.

Ever notice the difference between a new car in the dealers showroom and a pile of junk cars stacked up in the junkyard.

The Ted Bundy is strong in this one. Get some fresh air and seek some mild therapy.
