I'm four days late but no BFP?
I am usually very regular for my period and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a few months. I am currently 4 days late, am having symptoms like nausea, breast tenderness, back pain, etc. but no positive pregnancy test yet. What is going on?! Could I be pregnant and I just don't have a strong amount of HCG in my urine yet? Is this normal? I feel like most girls get positive tests the day they notice their period hasn't showed up yet, if not sooner. What do you all think?

My husband and I have been on a long road to getting pregnant for our second child and I can tell you, without a doubt, that if you want something bad enough, your body will trick itself into thinking it's pregnant. I am not kidding even though it sounds a little far fetched. The mind can do extremely incredible things and it has happened to me countless times. I find that if I just try to stop worrying about it and let things play out the way that they are meant to, my periods are on track and I don't ever have to guess every month when my period doesn't come on it's expected date. I would take one more test in a week and if it is still negative then just try not to stress about becoming pregnant and let nature take it's course.

I think you should go see a Dr. Also if you are under any stress that can cause you to be late. Another thing is that if you are wanting to be pregnant really bad you can actually trick your body into having pregnancy symptoms. Go see a Dr. though for a preconception appointment.
