What function does marijuana have on the plant world?

The seeds are very good food. It is sold as bird food and is even very good as people food. The only supposed animal I ever heard of eating them besides domesticated birds are almasty. I was surprised at the idea that caucasian shepards supposedly would kill them until I looked up that breed and saw how frightening they look. It was an unbelievable but interesting account at the link. There are many other similar stories about the almasty by the way.

No animals really consume it, though humans have used the seeds in animal feed for a while.

so if animals dont eat Marijuana ... why does it exist? most things exist to feed something... nothing feeds on marijuana. . . . do you think God put it here as medicine for humans?
