Anyone else finding the New Ads at the bottom of the questions really annoying?

Now we have to put up with Amazon and other ads based off the question!! What dork came up with that?

Please tell me what ads came up when you went to read this.

Update:

No, I have too much fun here to let a stream of ads drive me away. The ones I have seen try to sell a book, based on the the core wording of the question. Maybe if I had asked about some thing that some wrote a book about, then it would show up.

I used to watch the ads they had on the side, which would often give me "Jehovah's Witnesses dating sites". LOL

Oh well, if it helps pay for the bills....

Update 2:

Usually they try it in various markets, to check the viability of something new. And my question may not have given the software something it could link to the advertisers.

I see nothing Brother. I have an ad blocker built into my laptop,. I am sorry you have that annoying problem.

None. It may be a breach of their security or a trial run of something they are testing. I had it on Resolved questions only. Once I cleared my cache, cookies and temporary files and restarted my droid, they went away. Give it a try before giving up on the site.

Running an ad blocker also works, but the above worked for me without one.

  • I have them blocked but I can see what "kind" they are that are blocked--2 ads and one tracker

It's in mail too. Sometimes hidden. That I find to be to much and shouldn't be. They nor trackers should be in our personal mail.

I do remember some sites I go to that have them. I like many environmental discussions so I see ads for dog food, pet care, cleaning products, what ever they can find but I also notice and it must be because of trackers some like you mention dating sites follow some people on others.

All ads on places like this to me are annoying.

After I posted (submit) I saw a new one for add (this?) to facebook here (I don't have facebook-- and a place to sign up for one, so they want to redirect their ad and track as well. )

No I use Y!A on my phone and dont see em, but I suppose if it is see the ads or pay to use this site, I will tolerate the ads. Seriously. Unless someone has a gun at your head forcing you to be here, you dont have to "put up with it". You are free to go.

I don't pay any attention to them and just concentrate on writing my answer and move along to the next one.

I haven't even noticed them, and you don't notice until you hit the Submit button.

I just notice my answer has appeared and then click to the right Yahoo Answers list
