Spiritually Speaking: My fellow R&Sers what is a good way to eliminate hate from the bitter-hearted?

I don't think this makes sense...and what is left after this elimination ? Isn't the whole answer in what replaces and not what eliminates. You don't want an empty shell, you want a LOVING person in place of the bitter-hearted one. --- but I think you won't accept this so I stop here.

Provide a model of another way of being through your own life and actions. People are more likely to learn when they approach the teacher themselves.

You can't eliminate hate from the bitter-hearted, it is part of their demeanor...
It reminds me of a saying I've heard before...

Treat others the way you would like to be treated, but other then that people choose to be the way they want to be. All you can do is kill with kindness.

Kindness and compassion are the only way to destroy hate and violence. When you meet hate with hate you just create hate. When you meet violence with violence, you just create violence. Kindness and compassion are the way to peace. We all need to practice kindness and compassion

I don't think it's gonna happen; people have to WANT to change - you can't force it, even when it would be in their own best interest. Sucks, huh?
