Miralax is actually not really a laxative per se but it's something that causes water to go into your intestines to make going easier and it generally is slow working, so yes, that's kind of normal. If you really want to go, get some milk of magnesia and take the dosage as directed before bed and tomorrow morning you will go. Also, I think with miralax you have to take it daily.

If you are constipated frequently, consider eating raisin bran for breakfast. That will clean you out!
