If a god existed that cared about humans, wouldn't that make life ultimately fair?

God didn't make the world so that we could be happy. (Shocker.)

That's what he made heaven for. (Yes, I think that pretty much everyone is gonna end up in heaven. Sadly, maybe even Hitler. I don't know yet.)

God made this world so that we could have free will. More importantly, he made it so that everyone could have free will. Most importantly, if everyone has free will, that means that everyone is responsible for both how the world is and how the world will be in the future.

So actually, you're right; if a God existed that cared about humans, that would make life ultimately fair. Sadly, since God does exist, and more importantly, since He made a world in which our choices are all that matter, this means that collectively, this hostile unequal universe is exactly what we are collectively making of it, what we have collectively made of it. It may not be what the children deserve, but it's a world we each take responsibility for, within our means within our circumstances, whether we like it or not.

And guess what else? This is exactly what secular humanists keep trying to say, too! That we should all be striving for the better life, be striving to actually end unfairness, be striving to be the servant leader bending to help the poor, oppressed, depressed, downtrodden, sorry sods of life. In short, be striving to humanize everyone.

The humanists just didn't realize that it was the Christians (along with various other religious people) who were saying it first.

Yeah. Life is unfair. What you have to hope for is that life is unfair in your favor. If god existed there'd be no point to corporeal life, if such a thing as a disembodied spirit existed. We could be disembodied spirits too. Or doesn't the universal establishment cater to humans when it comes to disembodiment?

I've given up trying to understand God's lack of morals and reason to let us suffer the day to day things we have to go through.. Even when I believed in him more, things were still bad... Life is very unfair to the simple people who live paycheck to paycheck...

For now on Life is ultimately fair. Happy?

Yes, I dont know why a god would create us to automatically be born with sin, especially if we are created in his image. That would make god a sinner and a hypocrite. I used to believe in god, not so much these days.

Since that time, sin passes through man, therefore, Jesus was born of a virgin in order to save us of our sins & get us out of the contract. God worked out legal grounds, through Abraham, in order to save us & pour the sins of humanity on to Jesus on the Cross. Roughly 2000 years after Abraham was asked to kill / sacrifice his son, God sent His Son, on the same spot, to die for us. A man (Adam) put us in sin, a man (Jesus) gets us out of the contract
