I was thinking that. I have a friend in Watertown. He does have a gun but most people there are being advised to hide inside, lock their doors and don't answer unless you see a policeman.

No. I wouldn't want a showdown with a desperate killer on the loose. It think it is obvious that the two officers involved who were shot were perceived to be a threat and the civilian who was car jack was unharmed because there was no resistance.

I support others right to carry but personally don't wish to own a gun for protection.
