Cod 3 came out years ago. You're thinking of the potential Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
There's already been way more than 3 COD games. Black Ops isn't the only branch.

Call of Duty 3 has been out for a while. But Black Ops 3 hopefully won't happen. I'd rather have another Modern Warfare then another garbage Black Ops game. Zombies is overrated and Black Ops online is full of kids. But Treyarch really wants to f**k with people I guess.
Source(s): I have COD Classic, COD 3, COD World at War, COD Modern Warfare 1, 2, 3 and COD Black Ops 1, 2. I also have all the DLC to and I know for a fact. Treyarch ruined COD.
