So, how do we actually "register" high capacity magazines with the Sheriff?

Proposed bill on Oregon would ban ALL semi-automatic magazines and magazine tubes (Shotguns, Ruger 10-22) with capacity larger than 10. And require owners to register existing ones with the police. So there's no serial numbers on any of my S&W 59** mags. How does the Sheriff know I registered all of them?

you dont, firearm companies have been known to make adjustments for state laws and apply them so companies like ruger and smith and wessen and colt even kel tec(even though who cares about kel tec all their guns are ****) may start manufacturing mags with serial numbers on them.
