How hard is it to change a fill tube on a Ford Ranger 96'?

I think it's leaking right where the fill tube attaches to the gas tank but I don't know if it's difficult to change out without dropping the fuel tank or removing the truck bed.

It's a 4 cyl, 2 wheel drive, regular cab.

It's easiest to raise the bed.

I have had to replace the entire sender/pump assembly a few times. You will see a pile of dirt and crap on top of the assembly that holds water. Rust usually forms on the fuel lines.

You may get lucky and find a split hose or line, but I always seem to get the worst!
