Top QB heading into the 2013 season?

Right now NFL is in it's offseason, Draft just happened, but I wanna discuss something different. Top QB heading into the 2013 season. I have selected my top 5 (in no order) and I will tell you the reason that I believe they could be the top QB heading into the season

Joe Flacco- Joe is coming off a great 2012 season with the Baltimore Ravens. He threw 11 touchdowns in the postseason and did not turn the ball over. Also, don't forget he got a new 6 year contract, too. But even with the Superbowl MVP, and a terrific playoff performance. Can Joe "Cool" transition that into the regular season and lead the Ravens to back-2-back Superbowls?

Peyton Manning- The 2012 NFL Comeback player of the year will enter his 2nd year with the Denver Broncos. He was terrific in 2012, some even say it was Manning's best pro-season, I don't though. Also, he will be joined by former Patriot, Wes Welker. Is Manning the top QB going into the season?

Tom Brady- The 3-time Superbowl champion enters yet another year with the New England Patriots. Brady and company have not a Superbowl ofcourse since 2005. But Brady is good. He is a quality QB in the NFL, and by some, he is called the best. But in 2013 will head into the season as the TOP QB?

Andrew Luck- The #1 draft pick in 2012 will enter his 2nd season in the NFL, and will put his rookie jitters behind him. Confidence is definatly in Luck's mind after the Colts returned to the playoffs in 2012 after having an awful season the year before. Luck will have a huge chip on his shoulder, trying to do the same, and even farther this year. But with the names of Manning, Brees, Rodgers, Flacco, Brady, etc in the NFL, can Luck go into the 2013 season, and put up magical numbers?

Aaron Rodgers- The final QB i've decided to select is Aaron Rodgers of the Packers. The 2011 MVP had another terrific season in 2012, and led the Packers too the playoffs again. But he has not been able to get the Packers back too the Superbowl the past 2 seasons. Will he be able to walk into the season and dominate like years past? And don't forget, Like Flacco, Rodgers got a record-breaking contract this offseason.

So guys, Them 5 are the 5 I narrowed down to. Out of those 5 (Or your own selection) do you beleive is the Top QB heading into the 2013 season?

RG3's multie injuries price the redskins a number of video games, practically fee them the publish season at all, and DID fee them the wildcard in opposition to the seahawks. He is a first-rate QB but he makes stupid choices that result in him getting injured. A quarterback are not able to be best if he are not able to last long enough to peer his staff by way of the playoffs. If something i might factor to Wilson having the least to work with. Yeah he had Lynch and the seahawks D was once exceptional, but how does that quite help Russel. RG3 had a significantly better run sport than he did. And who did Russel must throw to? No one. He had an ok TE and Golden Tate Bridge. But that's about it. So the very fact he used to be competent to position up such just right numbers speaks extra to him than someone else, i believe. Good fortune had a number of just right recievers, as did RG3. Sure success didn't have a excellent strolling sport however i still find Russel's feat and not using a standout recievers spectacular past the opposite two rookies.

For my top 5, I've gotta knock Flacco off that list. His stats last year didn't even put him in the top 12. Yes he won the Super Bowl and played good in the playoffs. But most of the year he wasnt' too spectacular by any means. And he lost a ton of talent due to his humongous arrogance and greed.

Peyton Manning - This guy makes it in my opinion. He had the longest winning streak of anyone last year. And was right near the top in stats.

Aaron Rodgers - Consistently near the tops in stats and he's got a ton of talent surrounding him.

Drew Brees - With Sean Peyton back, Brees makes a huge comeback.

Colin Kaepernick - This guy is just plain dynamic and I think he should be getting more attention than he is. I hear tons of talk about RG3 and Wilson and little about Kaepernick. I love the way he plays. Smart passing and good mobility. He's going to be in the NFL Hall of Fame eventually.

Andrew Luck - No quarterback last year looked better in critical drives than Andrew Luck. Sorry Peyton and Brady and Rodgers...you just weren't as good in those situations as this guy and he set an NFL record doing it. And with their offseason moves, Luck is primed and ready to do even better.

It seems almost sacrilege to pull Brady out of that list. I still can't believe I did it. But Brady the last few years has become a lot more inconsistent than he once was. And I don't like that the Patriots replaced Welker with Amendola. That could potentially hurt Brady a bunch. The Patriots may have gotten the next Randy Moss though with the WR they picked up from Marshall. It just may take a while to develop him.

My top guy this year is going to go to the old pro, Peyton Manning. He got two weapons this year that I just love! First, the lucky guy gets Wes Welker. It will be amazing getting to see those two work their magic. Secondly, he gets Montee Ball as a RB. Ball is one of the most dynamic running backs I've seen in a long time. And this year Peyton won't be recovering from his injury like last year. Peyton is in a prime position to just kick butt this year.

I think #2 probably falls to Rodgers. He was lucky too. The Packers grabbed him Eddie Lacey. Lacey isn't as dynamic of a runner as Ball, but he's a better pass blocker and I think he is better at powering through piles.

As we saw with RG3 last year, the better your team's running game is. The easier it makes the job on the QB.

I dont trust Falcco. Ravens lost some key players on both sides of the ball so its not the same team anymore.

Manning should be good. Welker will help, and Decker, and Thomas add to a very good WR core.

Brady should also be good. Cant see him having a bad year at all.

Rogers is like Brady. He lost Jennings but Jennings never really did anything last year anyway. Rogers would be better if he had a reliable RB though.

Luck was not good last year. I know all the ESPN and other analyst were stuck so far up his azss last year...But if anyone ever bothered to actually watch him play, he was not good. He had a ton of turnovers, and his completion % was bad also. Colts need more passing targets for Luck, they also need a good RB to take the pressure off of him.

I would also add Drew Brees. He is a top notch QB and will have a good season as always.

First, Luck and Flacco don't belong in that list. Drew Brees is definitely a top 4 and I would add Ben Roethlisberger or Matt Ryan.

Rodgers is the best, just look at his numbers in the past two seasons and they are insane, he has a 70+ TD/Int differential and 6:1 TD/Int ratio. It's not Rodgers fault that the Packers haven't made deep postseason runs, it was the defense that allowed 37 and 45 points in the last two playoff losses.

The top QB going into the upcoming season is Aaron Rodgers for a couple of reasons. (1) He's the best QB in the League. (2) He's either already in his prime or just entering it, whereas Brady and Peyton are far past theirs.

If Lacy and Franklin pan out, it'll take a lot of pressure off of the Packers' passing game, making Aaron's job a lot easier. It'll keep the defenses honest.

I'll say Brady because they finally added that big guy who can burn on the outside that they have been missing since Randy Moss

I want to say Peyton, but he throws his receivers into big hits more than any other top QB and will probably get Welker killed by week 6

    Matthew Stafford.
