panic attacks.. xanax?
if I get a prescription to Xanax and only take it when I start having a panic attack will it help? or for a couple of days if I have high anxiety? I hate taking medication daily.

I have a prescription for Xanax to take on an as-needed basis. It will work for a panic attack, or if you just need to take it for a couple of days. You don't have to take it daily.

You should take it as your doctor advises you to. Keep in mind long term usage of Xanax will get your body VERY addicted to it. I just recently got clean off it and I had violent muscle spasms and dangerous seizures and had to stay at a hospital for a long *** time until it went away.

Don't self-medicate with Xanax. It's very dangerous. Take it however your doctor told you. If you want to go on an as-needed anxiety med, ask your doctor to switch you.
