Can someone help me with this math problem?

    1.5 hours

    40 mph = 40 miles in 1 hour

    60/40 = 1.5

    1.5x1 = 1.5 hrs

    If you are going 40 miles at 60 miles per hour it will take you 40 minutes. There are 60 minutes in an hour.

    the answer is 1 1/2 hours because 40 goes into 60 once and there would be 20 left over so you add another 20 and 20 is half of thirty so it would be 1 1/2
