Math Help please... still stuck?

Help me please....

I am stuck on this problem... and its late night, omg.. I bet its super easy, yet I can't get it...

    According to archimedes principle,"volume of liquid displaced is equal to volume of submerged solid"

    Therefore volume of body equals the difference in final and initial volume which is 4(1/4) - 3(2/3)

    i.e. 17/4 - 11/3

    = 7/12.
