Kindle readers - i need help...?

my wife has a basic kindle for reading. she LOVES it, but due too penny piching she never buys the good book, but complains about it :)

She always gets the free or .99 or maybe splurge on the $1.99.

i want to get her a gift card for Mothers day(Amazon im assuming)

i know she wil really like this, but i dont know how much i should do( example. do the "good" books cost $3. $4. $5. if i did a $50 card would that be good?

how does she load this gift card onto Amazon as her kidle is tied to her account.

    Yes with a $50 gift card, she should be able to get around 10 books, depending on the price of books she picks. Other than books, the gift card can be used to buy other things on Amazon too.

    The average e-book costs between $5 and $8 dollars, with most of the better known titles being around $7.99. You can get quite a few for $50. As for loading the gift card onto her account, I don't actually own a Kindle so I'm not sure how you do it exactly, but on my e-book reader, you can load gift cards right from the reader into your account. Don't know how Amazon does it though, but they usually have pretty good directions to help you figure those things out.
