Other things the Old Testament calls "an abomination:"
1) Being drunk;
2) Jealosy;
3) Anger;
4) Envy;
5) Women wearing pants (seriously);
6) Unequal weights and measures;
7) Human/animal sacrifice done "improperly";
8) Eating shrimp or vultures;
9) Eating 4-legged insects (which don't even exist);
10) Giving money to the church if it is earned through prostitution;
11) Giving birth to someone who becomes a thief (not sure how you foresee that one);
12) Statues;
13) Trimming your beard;
Things the New Testament calls "an abomination:"
1) Love of money.
Lovely thing about Jesus, He really simpled up that confusing Old Testament nonsense.

I am Liberal, although I renounced Christianity some years ago. I see it can only be one of two ways.
Either: God is real, and God created man. If so, God is Omnipotent and Omniscient, and therefore upon creating a person God already intended their sexual orientation. As such gay people must be intended by god, and since god loves all his children, God loves the gays too.
Or: God is not real, and man is cumulative product of millions of years of self replicating systems. If so, the people's behaviors are determined by a combination of biological factors like hormone levels and genetic predispositions, and societal factors like how they were raised and the ethical system of their community. As such, an individual's sexual preferences are none of the business of the community unless they violate community values, or are predatory. In this case it really depends on whether the individual has rights to privacy, and to have consenting adult relations with whom they choose.
So God is irrelevant to me in the discussion of Homosexuality. Ultimately, behaviors that are not directly harmful to others should be permitted in society, and no group has made a rational argument for the damage allowing Gays to marry would pose to any external group.

Obviously not since he allowed the Ancient Greeks who openly practiced homosexuality to concurrently save and invent Western Civilization

how very sad that you feel the need to act out like this, in a lame and feeble attempt to prove that you are actually straight
once you come out you will be a much happier person
best wishes to you

You haven't studied your Bible much, have you? You know that shellfish are also called "abomination," yes? Do you protest shrimp?

Great point!
We should immediately start enslaving dark skinned people and ban shellfish and stone children to death, so we can follow ALL of the Old Testament laws and not just the ones you personally agree with.

The one you claim to be talking to sure seems to be.
Wake up wilbur, most sects don't believe in your angry violent god.
