Is Taiwan's economic status good or bad?
I've checked and gotten a lot of info, but I don't think I know how to tell if its good or bad.

It seems to be much better off than a lot of other countries in the world.
@Village - Hmm.. I'm looking at one of their passports and it says "TAIWAN" on it, and the people I talk to here all call themselves Taiwanese/Taiwan Ren (台灣人), never heard any of them say "I'm a Republic of China Person / Zhonghua Minguo Ren" (中華民國人).
If the PRC insists on being called "China", and they refuse to let anyone in the world call the country on this island "China" in any way at all, then I guess we'll have to stick to calling the COUNTRY that exists here... "TAIWAN"! Fair enough?
Then again... maybe you are rooting for caling it a "Province of the PRC"... hmm?
