Who let Rudy Guede out of jail?
Rudy was in jail before he killed Meredith Kercher, but they let him go. You might say that whoever let Rudy out was somewhat responsible for the murder because it would not have happened if they kept him behind bars.
In order to avoid this, the theory that Meredith was killed by a group of people suggests that if Rudy was locked up, some other person in the group would have killed Meredith.
Perhaps someone asked the cops to investigate anybody who might be involved.
When they found out that Amanda texted CUL8TR at the end of the message with Patrick, then they could say she would be seeing Patrick later when they got together with Meredith later that evening.
The cops thought Bingo! we have 2 more suspects.?

Who let him out? The justice system let him out. Suggestion that whoever let him out is somewhat responsible for the death of Kercher is simply ridiculous, just as much as the suggestion that if Rudy didn't kill, she would have been killed another person in the group.
