Wanting to lose weight, and tone for the summer?

I currently weigh about 135-140 and I'm at 5'2. I'm a female.

I want to lose weight in my stomach area, that's where all the fat is mostly, and a little in my thighs but not much.

I want to tone my legs butt stomach and arms. I'd also love to "enhance" the size of my butt. I've heard that lunges, squats, and dead lifts (what the heck are dead lifts????) help with that butt I'm not sure(see what I did there?(; ) I need an easy cardio workout plan, I have a treadmill. I'm fine with using the treadmill, especially since long distance running gives you intense leg muscles. However I have asthma and really bad knees ankles and hips. I was also thinking of riding my bike a couple of miles a day. I want to go down to about 115 and ten build some muscle. I'm also going to be on swim team this fall, I was in it before, and it's an intense workout, but I'm not fit for it anymore. Besides swimming how can I work on the muscles I need for it? Sorry for babbling

ok first off i always like to clarify that a muscle cannot be toned only built or lost. A toned look comes from building muscle and/or losing fat. To lose fat you need a calorie deficit which means burning more calories than you eat. To gain muscle you need to not be in a calorie deficit....we have a problem here dont we. However if you are new to weight training it may be possible to lose fat and build a little muscle at the same time (only beginners can do this). Any movement at all will help you burn those calories and for that big bum you want squats are what you want.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Find an alternative stress-reliever. When you’ve had a negative day, don’t reach for the doughnuts – look for a new coping mechanism that works available for you, not against you. Listening in your favourite album, looking at loved ones pics on Facebook, or just getting away from home for a walk will enable you to focus on the positives.

I lost 12 kilograms (26.5 pounds) in 2 and a half months by doing this: -It was in last summer so yeah...-

I barely ate anything, because I wanted to be fit for school, because we get sports class and the less weight on me, the faster I can run. I starved myself because I stayed up ate at night, or should I say until morning? And I don't want to get out of the room while waking up my dad. Then I just drank water, it helps relieve that hungry feeling in your stomach, then do what I do and play games on the PC. And at 9:00am go back to bed and pretend you're asleep and wait till you dad comes out, pretend like you just woke up and ask him to make you food. Then you get to sleep all the way until 4:00pm and miss lunch and you get dinner at like... 8:00pm then starve yourself all the way until 5:00am and repeat over again.

Eat a little something before heading out, like a few almonds, so you don't go to the restaurant famished.

Eat in front of a person rather than a screen. It cuts down on mindless eating and makes you more accountable for each mouthful.
