Is it haram, I was a Senior Registrar, in Plastic Surgery?

How far is It ethically correct, as it involves many types of reconstructive operations of various body parts.

Thanks in advance.

Update:

Mostly burn cases, deformity by trauma, or baby born with hare lip/cleft. 30% cases were of cosmetic nature, like correction of nasal bone, to beautify the look of the look of face or hand.

What is the shariah ruling on it.

Update 2:

Sure Allah is Beautiful, and his creations are beautiful.

You only once advised me a Muslim should keep best in his look attire etc. In my opinion any deformity has to be corrected so that people never turn their face also you will feel good. But nowadays every thing depends on the individuals financial status. A Muslim should not be too low or too high. He should love Allah the almighty also should be conscious about his punishments. Jazakallah

Edit: so i presume it is ethically correct. Wait for the other answers.we can go on with the discussion. We will become more knowledged

    Edit

Youngsters espacially teen females undergo severe trauma because Look is very important, & it can result in severe pychological trauma, as it becomes more difficult when it comes to marraige. This can give truama to entire Family" so I recommend that this aspect must be borne in mind.

Correctional surgery is halal i.e burn cases, babies with cleft palates, deformities etc.

Cosmetic surgery is haraam i.e botox to get rid of wrinkles, nose job, boob job, ear pinning etc

Doesn't seem it would be haram in deformity and burn cases, but best to consult a sheikh dear uncle.

I am a woman and I am asking if it is haram to remove hairs from my chin and upper lips. I have got to look feminine, right?

If plucking eyes is haram, then it must be equally haram for ladies to shave off their beards and moustaches. Go to Google Image and type in bearded women and see how many pages there are.

What about Muhammad who used cosmetics makeups? He used kohl to outline his eyes, according to the Hadiths. He even cross-dressed in Aisha's clothes - please check that out in the Hadiths. Why did Muhammad try to femininize himself in women's clothes and makeups?

If you are really concerned about ethics you would not be asking here at this late date.

Every hospital has an ethics committee ask there.

Involving your politics into medicine is not ethical.
