Is Jedi just as legit as christianity and all the others?

If you read the whole article it points out that Jedi is not recognised as a religion as the Census office does not have the power to dictate what counts as a religion and what doesn't. All they did was acknowledge it as a possibe answer on their form.

That said, I would certainly say that Jedi is as legit as any other religion since they are based on the imagination. Jedi is perhaps more benevolent than most though, since it seems to have no deity to enforce rules and require tribute.
