POLL: Should the U.S make Cigarettes illegal?

No. People have the freedom of choice. If they're aware of the dangers of smoking but still choose to smoke then it's their choice. There are plenty of things we do that can potentially be hazardous to our health. Should we ban cars to bring down auto accident deaths to 0?

it would be best for peoples health but think how many people would continue to smoke illegally. It would be then a new way for criminals to make money for example with bootlegging alcohol when it was illegal in the 1920s
