Will Brett Lawrie be the next Playing Manager of the Blue Jays?

He seems to be taking charge and telling players, coaches, and his manager what to do. I think he would be a good manager, after all he already knows how to argue with the umpires.

Unless I am understanding the situation wrong and I didnt watch the game, but why in the world is Lawrie getting all mad about?

Lind was at third, he wasn't even the tying run. The tying run was at first. Lind's run meant nothing. Why take the chance of getting thrown out at home.

My only guess was that the runner at first may have been able to take second if the throw was off line, but Lawrie had no right to get mad at Lind after all he was the one who made an out and couldnt even move the tying runner over.

Yes good point. In fact one of the first things he might do is to bench himself or insert a pinch hitter for himself.

Lawrie has always been like that and I think despite the favorable contract they might trade him. He was Bryce Harper before there was a Bryce Harper, but doesn't have the numbers to back it up.
