TO ALL TRUE BORN AGAIN BIBLICAL CHRISTIANS?

Why do you stumble and stutter and exasperate yourself when asked to prove that God exists to people here and on the street that ask you? That is God's responsibility, not yours. The burden of proof as to whether or not God exists is not yours to prove. That belongs squarely on God to do. All you can do is testify and witness the things that God has done with regard to His proving TO YOU that He exists and leave the questions you cannot answer left unanswered. You are not going to save anyone. That is God's realm, not yours. Stay within your "measure of faith" which means to stay within the parameters of what you know as true and do not venture beyond that boundary of inter-personal knowledge of your experience. God will either use your testimony of the truth or He will not. He, after all, opens the blind eye or He closes their eyes and hardens their heart against Him just as He did with Pharaoh. God has given general knowledge of His existence in the natural world around us as witnessed by the stars at night or the natural environment around us. Just as a wristwatch evidences the existence of a watch-maker, so to does the natural world around and above and below us evidence the existence of a Creator. It is up to the individual to either receive or reject this evidence in nature, but to go about and attempt to prove God exists is a matter of personal experience an no further. When asked, tell what had happen to you and let that witness speak for itself. But to prove that God exists is not your responsibility or burden to prove. It belongs to God. Be thankful that He has revealed Himself to YOU and leave it at that. Let God deal with mankind in whatever way He desires and wills, because as God has said through the apostle Paul:

Romans 9:14-16 (KJV)

14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

and Paul said elsewhere:

Romans 9:18-24 (KJV)

18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?

21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

Keep YOUR EYES on God, and not man, and let God do what He will with His own creation.

God has shown us what He has shown you: witnessing is according to God's plan and timing and not ours. Without a supernaturally transformed mind from hostility towards God to seeking to know Him and His way of life, there's nothing we can do to help anyone. The best witness is living within Godly parameters until God the father decides to call someone and God the Holy Spirit places that person across our path to guide the beginning of the lifelong salvation process.

  • The saker may be getting at the difference between influence and control. 'We' control self, but only influence others. Could All OF OUR EFFORTS be to CONVERT others; for vast majority of us NO. CONVERT is God's doing; lead (influence) is ours (Ezekiel 3& 33; watchman).
