I think truth is important. Myself as a Christian, I was raised to never take anything at face value until I have compared it to the truths of life and my top source book, The Bible. I know some out there consider it to be an antiquated writing for old ladies, but not to me. It is powerful, real and relevant. I also read a lot of books and listen to speakers and have been working in the public sector for 15 years. In 'church world' we call this apologetics, which is basically the devotion to knowing why I believe what I do and what it's based on. I don't just listen to people from my viewpoint either. It's not my parent's truth or just something I've been taught to believe. I've searched it and continue to do so.

I would honestly say that I spend probably between sixty to eighty hours a week seeking out new information in the form of scientific research, biblical research and scrutiny, and listening to lectures and documentaries on a variety of subjects. My approach is scientific as I will read all the sides to a position and study each of them. I will then seek out evidence to support the findings and if non exists I move aside and keep trying to find evidence to support or refute one side or another until I come to a conclusion that something is more probable than something else. On estimation I would say that I've read close to maybe sixty books on religion and science. I am an atheist.

I'd say I do this religiously!
It gets tiring sometimes, but most of the time I find the discovery to be more fun than the actual knowledge.
I'm an agnostic atheist, and I can't even begin to estimate how many books I've read with the express intent of learning alternate viewpoints on the topic of spirituality. It's well into the hundreds.

A couple of hours a day. About 70ish religious books, everything from John Lennox to Billy Graham, and 10ish "Atheist" books mostly Hitchens and Sagan. Im currently reading the Quran and the KJV Bible too.
Yes I actively seek and reason.
Agnostic (Atheist).

This has nothing to do with this question , but the predestination one , you did not read my answer properly , i did not say predestination.[ unconditional ] , was biblical apart from a few exceptions , but Calvinists in general do believe in it , John macarthur is one prime example , scripture seems contrary to it , as for John calvin himself im not so sure , no more than the doubting Thomas the reputation just stuck

Religious truth? About 30 years ago I looked for truth. God eventually came into my life and helped me out. He showed me truth is in the Bible. I don't feel the need to search any longer.
