Why do you think God should exist?

Personal, existential issues I take it? This is a common flaw with thinking that any God exists solely to make your life better, or to help you out with anything at all, when there are suns exploding and galaxies colliding every day.

After having studied many world religions, past and present, I feel that the whole point of religion is to, in a sense, free a person from their own inhibitions, to offer that solidarity that can allow a person the confidence and courage to live their life completely unrestricted by self doubt or fears.

Yes, many evil people have taken advantage of that.

Having faith in yourself in what it's about, with the confidence to believe that someone or something more powerful than you cares about you when no one else does, whether or not this god helps you out or not. Whether or not it makes sense to people around you. What do they really care anyways?

Why are you so angry? God does not exist to make life miserable but to keep and bless those who love him. I don't "think" God exists, I "know" God exists. I've seen him work miraculously in my life so many times I can't type it all in this little box. You need to let go of all the hurt and anger you have and trust that God will make it okay. Silly, coming from a stranger you've never met but I know this to be true. If you only believe, you will see his power ACTIVELY in your life. I'll keep you in my prayers friend.

Those who are true believers in GOD ,never taught even a moment in their lives that their lives are miserable.

They always praise the greatness of GOD that HE gave life to them ,give them all sustenance, and all happiness both in this world and the hereafter as being heaven dwellers

Those who become miserable because they denied the greatness of GOD and turn to be ungrateful to HIM so their lives would be in misery, both in this world and the hereafter and their dwelling place would be tormented hell fire that the miserable in this world can not match what soever.

How would you become existed if no one created you.If you could answer by yourself how first life on earth begin ,then you will find the creation of GOD and belief in HIM ,as the sole Creator of the sky and earth and every thing in between them.

Why shouldn't God exist? I do. You do. There is no "purpose" for the existence of God. God just IS. Since God is the ultimate Being, there is nothing higher to compare God with and that means that just the mere existence of God sets the ultimate standard for which there is nothing higher to measure up to - thus, God does not need or have to have a reason or purpose. That which IS, simply...IS.

Misery is not created by God. Misery is created by human beings who do not know who they really are. Misery is the result of a lack of LOVE. If human beings truly loved their fellow man/woman, misery could not exist. But since human beings demonstrate an inherent desire to tolerate the causes of misery, to find excuses why they cannot or will not stop causing it, instead, they blame God for it. Humans are so shallow - the world is the way it is because WE MAKE IT THAT WAY FOR OURSELVES - by our inaction and by our permission, we allow misery to exist.

When the human race evolves sufficiently it will stop blaming God for what it causes for itself.

God does not make the lives of his children miserable ,but the devil

Lucifer does. God is a God of love we are his children created

in his image. We all have reasons to be here on this earth to bring to pass the mortality of man. That we all may have the opportunity to come to earth to experience family pain suffering and Joy. Life is all about growing and learning to help one another, serving our heavenly Father upon this earth. For when we are in the service of our fellow man we are only in the service of our God. Great are the blessing that he gives in return for our good deeds that we do upon this earth.

Hmmm... to my way of thinking, it has nothing to do with "should".

Either Gods do or don't exist. Until then, I'll just follow what I believe.

If you think Gods make life miserable for you, that's your opinion. I like having them in mine.

They don't require thanks; but I do like to show my gratitude, just as I would show gratitude to a host if I stayed at their house.
