What does "I Am Not Sent But Unto The Lost Sheep Of The House Of Israel." Mean to You..Who Believe?

Jesus said he came to fulfill the law not destroy it,that leads me to believe that not all tribes were lost and in need of being found . Simply by abiding within the laws of God, their father. Jesus also said if you dont believe in him , believe in his works. This furthers my belief that God's people abiding in his laws did not need healing. I believe those of us who maintain Jacobs soul without the geneology and benefit of jewish heritage are the fatherless that are lost. Therefore i believe with all my heart Jesus is my savior. But not neccessairly the the jewish peoples' but i do rekon that his death and geneology redeemed all mankind from the grave. Thanks for the opportunity for me to say what i think.

The Lost Sheep Of Israel

The idea of 12 lost tribes is not biblical. This verse simply means that Jesus was sent to the Jews first. Being lost here means needing salvation. I hope this helps.

Jesus was the Messiah, sent to His people, the Jews. When the majority of the Jews rejected Jesus, the gospel was then given to the gentiles. This is described mostly in the book of Romans.

Jesus Christ is a Light[Gen1:3-Jn8:12] to the Gentiles but He lived and died and lives as king of the Jews[Jer51:20-23], king of Jerusalem: Melchizzedec, king of Peace[Isa9:6] priest[Rev8:2] to God Most High[Ps89:29].

Ps41:13

It means that despite the fact that God had withdrawn His support from the Israelites because they did not keep their side of the contract He had with them, nevertheless, because they were once His chosen people, He offered them the opportunity to be the 144,000 who would be chosen to go to heaven and rule with Jesus for 1000 years,. Sadly, not that many accepted the offer. It was then made to the Samaritans and then the Gentiles. These were the 3 keys to the kingdom that Jesus symbolically gave to Peter.
