Should I continue to invest in my PS3?
Really torn on what to do. On one hand, I want to experience games such as metal gear solid 4, infamous, killzone, resistance, ratchet and clank etc. the issue is that the PS4 is right around the corner and Im not sure if I want to invest in my newly purchased ps3 if support for the system ends soon. Playstation plus sounds awesome but how long will it last come holiday season? This one of the hardest decisions ive had to make. Whats a good solution?
By invest, i mean put time and money into my ps3. I dont want to have to put in $500-$1000 into my ps3 if something like the ps4 comes out holiday season and everyone make the switched next gen

True, Ps4 is on its way, but that doesn't mean everyone's gonna immediately drop their Ps3s to make the switch. People tend to wait for a price drop, not to mention the fact that there are hardly any games that come at launch, so it's not even worth dropping all that cash on a console right away when you can wait a couple of years and have a bigger game library. It's well worth it to stick with the Ps3 a bit longer because the games you listed (as well as PS+) are TOTALLY worth it! So invest away...you won't be disappointed.

go with the ps 3
it has an excellent library and as the ps4 comes closer and is released the games will become even cheaper both new and used
and sony does not just drop their machines
the ps 1 was finally discontinued in 2004 a full 4 years after the ps 2 was released and 10 years after the ps 1 was released in 1994
the ps 2 was only discontinued in feb this year
almost 13 years after it was released and it survived and ran for the whole length of the ps3's life span
i doubt sony will out right kill the ps3 any time soon

What do you mean by invest? Buying games for it? Those games you lusted can be bought brand new for less than 30.
You can be more selective. Buy only the games that you really want and get the games you want when it goes on sale. Most new games can be bought for 60 or less within half a year after release if you have the patience.

You know, these will work with the correct PS4 model.
Buy 'em!, Just don't buy any thing like DLC's -- Also, PS+ will continue on the PS4.
So you get the first free games off that too, I'd imagine. Do eet. I did.
