Is there a location to report a really disturbing response to a question I answered?

I've received a number of responses from askers whose questions I've answered. Most are friendly and polite, even if they don't choose my answer as "best". Today I received one that is truly disturbing. It's filled with veiled curses and even threats of physical harm! Who does that sort of thing? My question is: is there a place on Y!A to report this sort of response?

I'd appreciate any answers or suggestions. Thanks.

    Yes. Next to the question or answer will be a Report Abuse button. Click it, then scroll down the page and mark this one "illegal." If there really are threats of violence in it, it needs to be marked as illegal because it is.

    If the response came through IM or email, you can't report it the same way. You need to email the Y!A Staff. To contact the Y!A Staff, email them at this address:

    y_answrs_team@yahoo.com

    Make the email clear and concise and polite. They appreciate that. Copy and paste the URL to the other user's profile page into your email. (Click on the other user's avatar to get to his or her profile page. Then highlight the URL in the address bar and copy it.) Also copy and paste the message that you are reporting.

    If it was within a question or answer, click Report Abuse link, select the 2nd option (illegal) and type: "harrasment, threats" in the text box before submitting.

    If it was through an email sent through the YA email system, forward the entire email to staff at y_answrs_team@yahoo.com for them to handle. Make the subject say: threatening email from another user. And BLOCK the person who sent it in either case.

    If it was an email from another user, forward it to:

    y_answrs_team@yahoo.com

    If you mean that another user responded that way to you on Yahoo! Answers itself, within the question/answer format, report it. If the response was in any way threatening, use the lower 'illegal' button when reporting.

    In either case, block the user who sent it.

    Assuming you received an email from another member.You could send an email to: y_answrs_team@yahoo.com

    Strange address but its correct. Include the URL for the individuals profile with an explanation and paste in the abusive messages.

    You can flag answers or just downvote it. i think theres a report button right next to the answer.
