Spiritually Speaking; If you believe the Bible, why don't you Believe it?

Why is it when you read somehting in it that you don't believe it's true; why try to find a spin to it?

What it saids, is what it is. For Example:

II Corinthians 13:1.>Shaul / Paul.

This is The Third Time I am Coming to You.

In The Mouth of Two or Three Witnesses

Shall Every Word be Established.

1). Daniel.

Daniel 10: 5-7.

2). Apostle John.

Revelation 1: 13-15.

EXODUS 20: 1-6. Do NOT MAKE ANY IMAGES OR LIKENESS.

NO-ONE KNOWS WHAT HE LOOKED LIKE.

WE HAVE THE TWO WITNESSES.

THEY ARE TRUE.

AHAYAH.

DeYAH Ysrayl.

Update:

Anything that is put to 'fire' turns 'black.'

Update 2:

Chris, You even placed a 'spin' on the question.

This was not about HIS command.

Update 3:

You are not a good-person as I'm a good person in our 'own' eyes.

You're missing the point of His parable.

He will be 'killing OFF HIS ENEMIES.

I'm not shouting; I'm my a statement to focus on.

Suppose those that are against Him, will try to kill you if you want to believe in Him. Would His killing them be Sufficient for you Then Because That's Whats going to happen at the Tribulation. Everyone will go through it. (There is No-Rapture before it). You see what happens when you change the 'focus of a question? The Man That Will Be Saving Those That Love His TRUTH is A BLACK MAN. That's My Point. A Man Of Color Most Hated Even By Those of the Same color because they want HIM to be Not Black. It Will Be Their LOST.

Update 4:

Servant A:

what Paul said Was Written By The Commandment Giver:

Deuteronomy 19:15.

Update 5:

Z-Man, What I said To Chris; it's for you also, since you agree.

I'm Not thumbing Up / down.

I'm Just Going to wait for The Best Answer as long as Answers.Yahoo Allow it to stay.

I just hope there will be others who will get my question the way it is presented. HIS Image is SOOO hard to Accept.

Most people don't accept the truth. Some people hear the truth but don't want to accept the truth, so they go looking for other answers somewhere else till they hear what they want to hear and accept it even if it's a lie. A fake friend will tell you what you want to hear. A true friend is not afraid to tell you what you might not want to hear. But not knowing what God looks like that was in the Old Testament. In the New Testament we have Jesus. John 14:7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.8Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

I don't believe in the bible because I believe in Jesus.

The NT, the good news, the gospel of Jesus are the words spoken by Jesus himself.

Many say Jesus said this or Jesus said that, or I am is Jesus, or Jesus is Melchizedek, or the bible as a whole was inspired by God.

If this where true why did we need Jesus? Jesus came and spoke directly to us but yet you believe in the words of others over the words spoken directly by Jesus. You can see that the words are totally different and the meanings are not the same, and then you blame others for what you call contradictions when it was you who believed them in the first place.

How is it that the LORD told Moses in Exodus 20:4 not to make any images and than in Numbers 21:8 told Moses to make an image, but more important why did the LORD tell Moses to make the image of a SERPENT? The Christ and Jesus told you why in John 3:14 and Revelation 12:9 but you would not believe the Christ or Jesus.

2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: Ex 20:2-5

    -----

8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. Num 21:8.

The Christ told you about the true meaning of Numbers 21:8 in Revelation 13:15. From Revelation 13:11 to Revelation 13:17 is talking only about Moses and the serpent. You even know who Revelation 13:18 is talking about but you will not believe it in your heart or mind, because you will not believe Jesus or the Christ.

I tell you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. But these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slay them in my presence. (Luke 19:26-27) <---From the bible.

I choose to believe in being a good person not preaching to everyone you see.

Yea I know. I just hate how everyone thinks that every other religion is wrong and persecutes them for it. Let them be and let them live as they wish. Everyone thinks every religion besides theirs preaches violence. Agreed, why would that be placed in the bible as a teaching?

I don't believe any of it.

Reason: I've actually read it, unlike anyone I know personally -- including Christian friends and family.

@Chris H below - you are correct, and Jesus is violent, but that particular line "slay them in my presence" is spoken by a slave master, not by Jesus. Still - why would Jesus tell such a violent and immoral tale?

    I'm with ya, brother.
