Evangelizing the Lost...?
I noticed you blocked me after I asked a question about your calling as an evangelist (which you haven't answered). If you were a true evangelist called of God you would KNOW that "blocking" or preventing another Christian from access to you and your so-called gift is a sin. The Scripture?
1 Corinthians 12:24-25 (KJV)
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
God tempers the Body TOGETHER, but your blocking my access to your so-called "gift" as an evangelist is working AGAINST God's will. Nor are you showing "care for another" believer.
Another thing is the exercise of your so-called gift as evangelist. Why do you cast your pearl before swine? The evangelist is not called to the world (unbelievers), but to the Body of Christ. Take note:
Ephesians 4:11-12 (KJV)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
The evangelist is NOT for the perfecting of the world
The evangelist is NOT for the edification of the body of the world.
And another thing...ALL CHRISTIANS are to live their lives with men as peaceably as possible and to always be ready to give an answer to those that ask of the hope in you with meekness and fear (respect). Instead, you block me. You don't obey the Word and give an answer to those (me) that asked of the hope in you.
Now, I ask again.
Who called you to be an evangelist in the Body of Christ?
Describe the event of your calling.
If you are an evangelist, then why don't you OBEY your Lord and minister to the Body of Christ as the Scripture says in Ephesians 4:12 and perfect THEM (believers), and edify THEM (believers) instead of the world?
Your blocking me from responding on your questions here works AGAINST God whose will is to temper the Body TOGETHER and give me access to your gift as you are given access to my gift.
Another thing...who are the "lost" as the Bible describes and teaches they are?
Evangelizing says "I never blocked you." My response: I wanted to respond but there was no button to do so.
Still, you have not answered my question (s). Evading my questions is not Biblical.

edit: oh. THAT evangelizing the lost... i didn't get it :)
sorry to intrude.
RESPONSE: I am not upset. I am asking a question(s). Since we are our brother's keeper I am asking about "a brother" who is claiming to be an evangelist of the lost. And you haven't intruded. At least you gave him/her an opportunity to respond FIRST and did not jump in before he/she responded. Still, he/she has not responded to my questions. The first order of business for any believer is to be obedient to God and His Word. Sadly, Christianity fails when they fail to disciple in the things of God before they "go out" and open their big mouths leaning on their own understanding and
@Loki LaufeyJarson: What fight? Asking a question is "a fight?"
@Loki LaufeyJarson: What fight? Asking a question is "a fight?"
@Mkemke: "Butt-hurt?" Asking a question(s) is "butt-hurt?" Let me guess: unbeliever, right?

Taking things personally, are we?
If you want a reponse from a particular person, address it so. And where in Scripture does it say that 'blocking" communication from someone to (an Evangelist, real or not) makes the blocker a sinner anyway? I'd like to know that one.
Jesus, himself, sometimes "blocked' access even to himself to the masses.
What is your quesiton?
Seems to me you are having a tantrum for not being able to harrass someone who said their are an Evangelist.
Move on.

You mean because someone told you to do something you didn't agree with, that was enough to turn you into an atheist? A university lecturer? Surely you have other reasoning than that. Otherwise it would be worthwhile to rethink the whole thing. At 71, you aren't too old to rethink things.

This is interesting. I have noticed other people claim to have been blocked and others saying that they did not block anyone. Could there be a chance of a glitch in the system that makes it appear like you have been blocked?
