awful pain in eyelid help?

The nerves behind one of my eyelids is really hurting. It's not twitching, it's more of a constant pain that hurts more when I touch it. Anyone know what's up?

Sounds like it could be a chalazion. That's a cyst under/in the eyelid that is caused by inflammation of a blocked meibomian gland, usually on the upper eyelid. If it gets infected or inflamed, it could be painful. Usually there's a small nodule that can be felt, but not always. I got rid of mine with warm wet compresses several times a day for 30 minutes each. An opthamologist should take a look to be sure.

this could be a wide range element of things, such as allergic reactions, etc. most docs wont even diagnose u, they will give u eye-drops called 'Pataday', they work well with any eye condition!(:
