Trayvon Martin's mother was allowed to sit in the courtroom even though she was going to testify. George Zimmerman's mother was kept out of the courtroom because she was going to testify. Why the discrimination?

My guess is because Trayvon isn't around to hear what mom is going to say, and if he was, he wasn't on trial, and Zimmerman is alive and well, and on trial.
But I'm not a lawyer and do my best to stay out of courtrooms, lol.
