How to keep my photo album private on Facebook so only my friends can see it. It was private but when checked?

When I checked it was open to public I try to do it through my iPhone 5 but it doesn't help I try to do it on my laptop it says u can change the audience for every post picture but when oi click on it to make it private it doesn't work please tell me step by step any other way or wala I would have to delete it and I don't wanna I have lots of good comments and memories please let me know thank u
