Why are country stars asking us to pray for randy travis?
It seems to me, the doctors are to thank for saving his life so far... not God... and it was Randy (who believed in God and sang about it) who put himself in this situation, God didn't help him stop drinking or from destroying himself ... another foolish believer finding out painfully there is no God to help you

May God help the person that EVER needs to ask you for assistance in anything.
God works miracles. If Randy is indeed a man of God, then God is with Him, no matter how foolish he has been. If someone has requested prayer on Randy's behalf, it is because THEY love him, care about him and his family, and believe in a miracle working God. It also helps the person who loves someone enough to pray, and God works in their heart in the event that it is time to take someone home. It is so much easier to release them into the hands of a God that you are close to.
You have no idea what God has done in his life, how far he has come, what he has been through, or how he has impacted others. My hope is that folks with your attitude never have access to a microphone to sing of their beliefs.
