What is a DNS error and how to do I overlook it?

I have had a linksys router and comcast internet for over 6 years and never got a DNS error before. I have recently bought a PS3 and I connected it wirelessly to my router but I always receive an error message and can't stay online for more than 10 minutes at a time. How do I fix this error?

    You need to fix it not overlook it. Check your router's DNS settings and make sure they are set as your ISP recommends.
