Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 won't play .wmv file. Why?
Adobe Premiere Pro played wmv files perfectly fine and good. there was nothing wrong it. Recently I opened it to edit a wmv file, a huge letter box has blocked half of the screen. I have tried anything I could do to make it work but no luck. Help???

Is it the same file? Does it fail to play all WMVs? Is it the same computer with the same set of codecs installed? Does the error box say anything meaningful? Did you by chance add/remove a video player or another app that may have affected the handling of certain video formats?
