Does anyone else think "The Conjuring" wasn't scary at all?

The Conjuring was the most overrated movie I have ever seen. Hardly any excitement or suspense, not scary at all, and all in all just a terrible movie. It doesn't deserve the reviews it got, I wanted a refund after I saw it. I also can't believe people actually think the movie is scary, it was a pile of crap

I thought it was weak. My friends were oh so scared to see it, and when I saw it..honestly, the only thing that happened was a little surprise that caught me. Other than that, This movie was a complete fail. The girl I was with wasn't even scared, but she was still all over me lol. I thought the movie "The Thing" 2012 remake and the original were better than this fail of a scary movie. Lately, these types of movies have ALL been a waste.

I saw it last night and thought the same thing. I think all the people in the background at the theater kind of took away from it in a way as it wasn't silent enough to create suspense- everyone was gasping and being noisy.

Yea it's definitely overhyped for whatever reason.. it definitely wasn't a bad movie. It was better than most American horror these days but it was not an 8.1 (IMDb). More like 7 but minus .8 because of the stupid kids in the theater. So 6.2. I thought the recent Evil Dead was much better than this. Well I'm more Japanese horror guy, that's the real ****...

I totally agree. The movie got so much hype and **** that i thought it would actually be scary for once. But no. I saw it with my boyfriend who is scared of horror films and even he said it was boring! It was really just a waste of time...

I thought it was kinda scary. Wasn't as scary as I was hoping it'd be, but it was still a good movie. And I can see why people find it really scary.

I agree. I saw it awhile ago and thought it really was hardly anything. xD I mean, I'm 13 years old and I thought it was nothing. That says something about it.
